I spent some time clearing out my laptop's drive today, but no noticeable increase/decrease in performance. Just plugs along same as usual. I've found a whole chunk of WIPs that I'mma try to knock out over the next few weeks. (I have to stop making new ones) Some of these are up as sketchy bits, and others are fic.

Socially, this year, real life has thrown me some spiky curveballs and this one thing... rawr. 'This' being a person who's doing the same course as I am at the moment. Someone I'll tag 'A'(maybe for arsehole) and is an incredibly schiesty guy.

However, we can and do get along. (Meaning I haven't tried to push him off the top floor of the campus centre building yet.) Even if I'm not interested in cheap deals and/or free things I don't need, it's interesting knowing what's out there. Mr A gives rather interesting book recommendations. Mutual agreement that Agatha Christie is excellent and Tom Clancy is/can be quite good. Yup, I can live with that.

And now... attention is flattering. But persistent attempts to, one, hold my hand, wrist, arm, or hip, or pet my hair, the small of my back, are not. An offer of 'where's your car, hop in, I'll drive you there' is effin' inane when Seca is all of five minutes away from me and I'm already in the parking lot. Constantly asking me over to your 'house to play games/watch movies/party' is just making me curl my lip. Do I need to say this again? Do I need to punch your face in? Body language and verbal rips not enough? What part of 'I. Am. Not. Interested' do I need to carve into what's between your ears?
